KENNEBUNK — Melissa Boyd has been speaking to spirits since she was a child.
“I have always seen and felt energy around people and situation and it speaks to me,†Boyd said as a matter of fact.
She believes that we all have intuitive knowing, and once this is applied to all aspects of our lives magic unfolds.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, she will be connecting with the spirit world at River Tree Arts in Kennebunk. Tickets are $45 a person and although not everyone will receive a direct message from their loved ones in spirit, Boyd provides soul gifts for each participant and hopes to empower the group to trust their own intuitive knowing.
Boyd, holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in public policy and management. She has used her intuitive gifts all her life, from communicating with spirits who have crossed over to seeing visions of new innovative programs that would change public policy.
In the early 1990s she was active in the recycling and environmental movement in Portland, where she helped create and co-wrote the recycling policy for the city, which then spread across Maine in years to come. In 1999, she had a dream about General Colin Powell coming to Maine to celebrate the state’s success on the Maine’s Promise Book (an online resource for children including free eye exams, notebooks, scholarships and more). Boyd was instrumental in both expanding the book and in strategically bringing Powell to Maine. Her innovative mind and intuitive abilities continued to grow her career as a lobbyist and a leader in Maine on nuclear disarmament. These are just a few examples of the many ways her intuition was used.
She was appointed by Maine’s Governor as a Commissioner for the Maine Commission for Community Service, where she was helpful in educating Congress about the Serve America Act. She helped bring AmeriCorps to the State of Maine by implementing a restitution program in her worksite.
Boyd has dedicated her life to being of service and now she has infused her business skills and mediumship to bring these gifts to the world. In her sessions, people may hear from their loved ones who have crossed over to the other side and obtain business advice about their career.
“It’s all vibration, we are all energy,†states Boyd. “Once we understand that our energy creates our destiny, our soul evolves. The time is now for everyone to awaken to their intuitive gifts and use them in all aspects of their lives.â€
She is in the process of completing her book “The Vibrational You: A Guide to Your Intuitive Life,†which unravels the mystery of reading energy, outlines consciousness and offers the reader concrete steps to trusting their own intuition to create a vibrant life.
